Peran Psychological Flexibility sebagai Mediator dalam Hubungan Kebersyukuran dan Kesepian pada Mahasiswa Baru yang Tinggal di Asrama

Psychological flexibility telah diteliti memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan fungsi-fungsi psikologi dan menurunkan beberapa gangguan psikologis, seperti kesepian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek mediator psychological flexibility dalam hubungan kebersyukuran dengan kesepian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 110 mahasiswa dengan rata-rata usia 18 tahun, yang tinggal di Asrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala The Gratitude Questionnaire-Six–Item Form, The UCLA Loneliness Scale Ver. 3, The Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II. Analisis mediasi dilakukan menggunakan PROCESS Macro dari Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peran psychological flexibility sebagai mediator dalam hubungan kebersyukuran dengan kesepian pada mahasiswa baru yang tinggal di asrama. Namun dalam pengujian kelompok yang berbeda, psychological flexibility tidak berperan secara signifikan dalam hubungan kebersyukuran dan kesepian pada kelompok mahasiswa berjenis kelamin perempuan.
