Peer Review Process

The Journal of Business Technology and Economics (JBTE) is an electronic journal published by Pijar Pustaka Widyadhana. Every manuscript submitted to JBTE will undergo a review process. Submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editor and evaluated by the editorial board regarding the writing format, whether it is suitable for the focus and scope of JBTE, methodological precision, and similarity checks (plagiarism).

Then the editor sends the manuscript to at least two anonymous reviewers; the identities of the reviewers will not be known to the author (blind review). Reviewers will consider the suitability of the manuscript in terms of contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation of the writing. Reviewer comments by the section editor are then sent to the author for correction and further action. The editor will notify the author of the review results as quickly as possible, approximately within 15 to 60 days. Then the results of the improvements will be reviewed again by the section editor to see the suitability of the reviewer's comments with the results of the improvements, and it is also possible for the section editor to provide insight into the revised manuscript if deemed necessary. The final decision on article acceptance will be made by the editor in accordance with the reviewer's comments.

Accepted research articles will be available online (free download) following the journal's peer-review process. The detection of plagiarism in articles in this journal is carried out using Turnitin. Authors should use Mendeley as a reference management tool. The language used in this journal is English.
